My Journey to Courageous Communication
My path to becoming a communication coach began with a profound realization: the patterns we develop in communication—just like in any area of life—can either limit or liberate us.
I learned this firsthand, transforming from someone who either avoided difficult conversations entirely or approached them in unhealthy ways, to embracing these conversations with confidence and clarity.
After leaving an unhealthy marriage of 13 years, I was introduced to You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. That book ignited a journey of personal growth and self-discovery that continues to shape my life and work today. Through years of study, reflection, and coaching, I uncovered the deep connection between self-awareness, communication, and relationships. It became clear that many of our struggles—whether personal or professional—stem from unspoken truths and unresolved conversations.
Transition to Specialized Coaching
As a Heal Your Life® Workshop Leader and Coach for over a decade, I guided hundreds of individuals through personal transformation, with a strong emphasis on relationships. A consistent pattern emerged: when people learned to communicate with clarity and courage, their relationships improved.
During this time, I specialized in 'Should I Stay or Should I Go?' coaching for romantic relationships—an area where courageous communication was not just beneficial but essential. This work reinforced my belief that clear, honest dialogue is the foundation of all healthy relationships, whether personal or professional. This realization deepened my commitment to helping others break free from ineffective communication habits and build stronger connections.
Bringing Courageous Communication to the Workplace

Over time, my focus shifted from personal development to professional team dynamics. I saw that the same communication challenges affecting personal relationships were also impacting workplaces—hindering collaboration, reducing morale, and creating avoidable tension and stress. Inspired by my experience helping individuals find their voice, I expanded my work to support business teams in fostering open, effective communication.
My professional background—spanning legal administration, cardiovascular technology, and transformational coaching—has given me a distinctive perspective on how teams function and communicate. I combine the precision and structure of my legal experience, the deep understanding of both the physical and metaphorical heart from my healthcare background, and my coaching expertise to help teams:

-
Align their values with their daily interactions
-
Transform communication barriers into bridges
-
Create a culture where honest, respectful dialogue thrives
-
Build stronger, more resilient workplace relationships and collaborations
-
Elevate the company’s purpose and mission
My Vision
To transform workplace dynamics through a balance of soul-centered and practical communication—where teams achieve exceptional results while valuing emotional intelligence and the human side of communication.
In this environment, every team member feels valued, individuals feel equipped to contribute to their company’s success, and difficult conversations become powerful catalysts for growth, connection, and innovation.
Who I Serve
I serve forward-thinking leaders and teams who believe that exceptional business results and human-centered communication can coexist.

On a More Personal Note
When I’m not working with teams or leading workshops, you can find me hiking, mountain biking, or reading. I love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and find that nature fuels my creativity and clarity. One of my favorite quotes that reflects this is: “Into the forest I go—to lose my mind and nurture my soul.”
I also love this guiding wisdom from Ernest Holmes: “Your soul belongs to the Universe. Your mind is an outlet through which the Creative Intelligence of the Universe seeks fulfillment.” Teaching courageous communication is one way in which I believe this Intelligence flows through me.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey. I look forward to connecting with you and helping your team step into courageous communication.
